After releasing the critically acclaimed Adelaide (we liked it) Tim follows up with a 5 track EP titled Sessions Lamar.\nMiller is an intelligent and lucid singer/songwriter/musician that encapsulates everything you would want to hear from an indie artist. I appreciated his innate sense of rhythm with his guitar playing, then to weave the lyrics around the music so emotionally… it all coalesces beautifully and during each track you end up in a free fall right into the story.\nThe songwriting and musicianship is vibrant, fresh, and incredibly catchy. Although only five songs are offered here the impact is tremendous on every recording. The Cat Stevens song “Father and Son” is very powerful and Miller sounds a lot like the originator of the song, which in turn prompts chills to go up and down your spine. The rest of the EP is equally attractive lyrically and musically and basically has the same effect. “Man Overboard” is exceptional as well and it closes out the EP with Miller wearing his heart on his sleeve, as he does throughout the CD.\nThis is an impressive EP and hopefully just a teaser to a full length release that will be following.

At the end of the day people don’t buy plastic and paper, they buy emotions. This is why Tim Miller has so much potential as an artist. His music has an amazing amount of emotional depth to it. You will find honesty, vulnerability, pain, joy all delivered with a simplistic purity that is without any pretense. But above all it’s sung straight from the heart, and from a deeply honest perspective. The music of Tim Miller does not attempt to hide the truth in any way, shape, or form. In fact it tells it with bold honesty and genuine conviction via Tim’s smooth voice, and his world class songwriting. . . . You simply have got to get your hands on some of his music and see what all the hype is about. -Cyrus Rhodes

Wildy’s World (Adelaide)
…Tim Miller is the sort of singer-songwriter I can easily picture still performing in the popular realm 20 years from now. Perhaps not as the superstar flavor of the minute type, but the long term singer-songwriter who builds up a resume of respect and awe amongst his fans and those within the industry. Give him a listen. You won’t regret the time.

Miller has put together an uncomplicated and unfussy collection of thirteen songs that are melodic and soothing. Miller is more of a songwriter/singer than the other way around… that is not to say vocally he lacks—the opposite is true as he has a very persuasive and effortless delivery that wraps around the listener. However, his delivery is such that it doesn’t blanket his songwriting which at times seems quite autobiographical yet with mass appeal. Meaning? You may find yourself or someone you know in this moving compilation. -Kim Thore

A strong collection of songs delivered in a seemingly effortless but still winsome manner. Think of Michael Penn singing the songs that Jakob Dylan and others write on their best days. -D.O.
